Hi, I’m Jori, and I’ve proudly owned this studio for nearly six years but my love for photography started long before I ever stepped foot behind a professional camera. As a kid, I was the one pulling out old photo albums—flipping through my parents’ wedding photos, childhood candids, and every grainy memory in between. I remember thinking how priceless those moments were, frozen in time. In high school, I began taking senior portraits for friends, classically capturing them in wheat fields or almond orchards around Kern County—right alongside my growing obsession with landscapes and nature photography. That passion eventually led me to Brooks Institute, where I graduated in December 2015. Just a few months later, in June 2016, I joined the team here at the studio—and quickly realized how much I loved working with students and families. In July of 2019, I took over as owner and have spent the last six years shaping the space into my own.
